ABOUT ME
My Calling
Ahoy there! I am Captain Noah Barker, and I am an inshore guide based on Mobile Bay. From a very early age, I grew up on the water. I learned much out on the water, and really enjoy being able to share that knowledge with other fishermen.
One aspect of my guiding career that I love is our local fishery. I am part of a fish tagging program done by the Coastal Conservation Associtation. As a matter of fact, one of the main purposes of CCA is tagging fish. When one of the fish we tag is recaught, the fisherman is able to log the fish using an app on their phone. Both the tagger and the current fisherman can then see how the fish has grown, and where it has traveled since the day of its tagging. Any subsequent catches can also be seen by anyone who has tagged or caught the fish. It provides a great deal of information to help with the conservation of fish species found along the coastal areas.

My experiences with CCA and guiding are but an outpouring of my love for the water. You see, I knew long ago that my calling in life was guiding. A number of mentors in guiding as well as my dad have taught me much about my passion. As a passionate guide, my priority and goal is to make sure you have the best fishing trip possible! I look forward to fishing with you!
